Spending your 18th Birthday in Quarantine

I feel like I've been waiting a lifetime (literally) to turn 18. Finally I'd be able to clubbing with my friends. However COVID19 had something else to say about it. The day before lockdown my mum rushed me out of the house to choose a birthday present, and this resulted in the purchase of my new Wacom Intuos digital drawing tablet.

With all this free time I've been able to play around and experiment with it. I started with a simple drawing of a rose.

Then I decided I wanted to tackle something a little more challenging. So I decided to attempt to draw my cat, Floyd.

This honestly took me the better part of three days, but its not like I'm short of time right now. I'm pretty happy with the result so I'm gonna keep updating the blog with my new drawings.
